Fargo Hose Company was founded in 1986, but the history of the company dates back to the mid-seventies. At that time, Fargo Hose was a division of a local manufacturing business with just two employees and 2,500 square feet of space. As time progressed and the business grew, they soon branched off on their own.
In 1986, the original owner purchased the hose manufacturing division of the business and formed Fargo Hose Company. Fargo Hose has moved several times, each move to a newer and larger facility, eventually ending up at their current location on 12th Avenue North in the Fargo Industrial Park. Their current facility has 30,000 square feet of manufacturing space, with room to grow. This new location not only allows Fargo Hose to compete on the local scene, but now on the national level. Fargo Hose currently supplies hydraulic hose assemblies to several of the largest manufacturers of agricultural and industrial equipment in the world.
In 1996, the company's original founder decided it was time to retire from the hydraulic hose business. Although several interested buyers approached him, he wanted the employees to benefit from the fruits of their labor. After much research into various options, he decided that he would sell the company to the employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
Although Fargo Hose Company has grown from its humble beginnings; they still have not forgotten their roots. Whether you are a small family farmer looking for a single hose or a major OEM looking for thousands of assemblies, the staff of over 30 employees at Fargo Hose, are here to assist you in all of your hydraulic needs. |
